We’re in the home stretch now. There’s just one week left before Election Day! |
Lizzie and the team have been covering a lot of ground in #TX07 and across our community to connect with voters and turn out Texas voters. We’ve been knocking on doors, making calls, and turning voters into volunteers.
Now, we got a little help with that from none other than Vice President Kamala Harris, who came to Harris County Friday night to highlight the stakes in this election. Focused on the attacks on our reproductive freedom in Texas—a cautionary tale for people across the country—the rally also highlighted the incredible energy and possibility in our state. |
From Midtown to Asiatown, across Harris and Fort Bend counties, #TeamLizzie has teamed up with our friends and partners across the district to get voters to the polls—from phone-banking in our HQ to block-walking with members of the Gulf Coast AFL-CIO to kicking off another huge launch with our next Senator from Texas last Saturday. We want give another huge THANK YOU to the #TeamLizzie volunteers who showed up to GOTV last weekend in #TX07. It was great to see so many familiar faces and new ones for the Texas Offense Saturday block walk launch with Colin Allred, Ann Johnson, and Texas Democratic Party Chairman Gilberto Hinojosa!

We hope you’ll help us finish this incredibly important election strong. Do you have a yard sign? Have you called friends in the district? Have you knocked on doors? Now is the time to talk to people across #TX07. Here are some ways you can this final week of this critical election: |
Reminder: Early voting runs through this Friday, November 1. You can find more information about early voting, including polling locations and schedules, at https://www.vote.lizziefletcher.com.
We’ll let you in on something—once you vote, people will stop calling, texting, and showing up at your door to remind you to vote. You can also avoid long lines at your polling place. Plus the more people who vote early, the earlier we can get results on election night!
This Texas Tribune article has helpful information about Texans’ rights when voting, including what forms of ID are acceptable, accessibility and language accommodations, and more. Find an early voting site near you here and get out and cast your ballot!
Thanks for being a part of the team, Team Lizzie |
