That’s all we have left until the most important election of our lifetimes.
While all of the focus is squarely on the presidential election, I am going to ask you to focus elsewhere: control of the House of Representatives.
Control of the House of Representatives should be the top priority for conservatives. Why? It’s actually quite simple.
If Donald Trump is elected, like I believe he will be, but does not have a Republican majority in the House then his presidency won’t be successful. Think back to President Trump’s first term when Democrats controlled the House - endless political investigations and impeachment efforts. President Trump needs a Republican House majority to secure the border, extend the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, and restore American energy dominance.
If the worse case scenario happens, it is absolutely critical that Republicans maintain control of the House of Representatives to keep Kamala Harris in check. We cannot allow Kamala Harris to have a Democrat House majority if she is elected president, because Democrats will bend to every one of her progressive demands.
The fight for control of the House of Representatives could not be closer. We have commonsense conservative incumbents running tough races in some of the bluest areas of the country - California and New York. We also have quality candidates running to flip Democrat-held seats in places like Michigan and Virginia.
This is where my focus is for the next 7 days. I am spending my time, energy, and campaign money to help Republicans hold and expand our majority in the House.
