American workers can still clearly remember bailing out our financial institutions and other huge corporations during the 2008 global recession, at a time when 10 million Americans were losing their homes. We remember watching the news and, after being promised oversight, seeing our dollars go to golden parachutes and bonuses for greedy executives -- and seeing none of those executives go to jail for abusing the bailout.

Now it's Deja Vu all over again. Congress has handed almost $500 billion to big corporations with little or no strings attached -- and a written promise from Donald Trump to ignore the few conditions that are.

As Elizabeth Warren said in her recent op-ed with Joe Biden, "The cost is more than simply tax dollars -- Americans' faith in government is undermined when the price of helping everyone else is more giveaways for those at the top."

With the damage the Trump administration has done, it might be tough to restore Americans' faith in government. But we can at least prevent another giveaway for those at the top.

Democrats like Warren who are fighting to demand oversight for taxpayer relief funds simply can't do it alone. If you're as outraged by this blatant display of corruption and corporate greed as we are, DEMAND Congress take action to ensure big business doesn't get another blank check from us -- NOW. >> [link removed]
