This is important. We're all in this together.

Dear john,

One week to save our public schools. One week to defend our freedom to organize. One week to protect our safety on the job.

One week to pull out all the stops to elect leaders who will fight for working Texans, not billionaires.

Let’s go!

What you need to know:

After today, there are just three days left of Early Voting! Beat the lines on Election Day and cast your vote early from now until Friday, November 1st. You can find your polling place and our list of labor-endorsed candidates on our Election Resources page. If you have problems voting, call the Election Protection Hotline at 866-OUR-VOTE.

In the closing days, the contrast between the two presidential campaigns couldn’t be more stark.

On Sunday, Donald Trump put on a hate-filled rally in Madison Square Garden that featured speakers who spewed a laundry list of racist and misogynist attacks against Puerto Ricans, Latinos, Black Americans, and other minorities. Remember: ALL workers – regardless of race, religion, or immigration status – deserve a living wage, the right to collectively bargain, and freedom from exploitation. We will not let billionaires like Trump and Elon Musk divide us. We are strongest when we stand together. With just two weeks to go, Texas Labor is pulling out all the stops to elect pro-worker candidates.

That’s why union members here in Texas have been knocking thousands of doors for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, Colin Allred for U.S. Senate, and pro-worker candidates all the way down the ballot. With so much at stake for working people, we’re leaving it all on the field and talking to as many voters in union households as we can!

You can help! Our local labor bodies and affiliates are hosting phone banks, text banks, and block walks during the final seven days of the election. They need our help to reach members for the final push – will you join us?

Our vote is our voice, and we want Texas Labor 's voice to be heard — loud and clear — on November 5th.

With billionaires lining up behind Donald Trump and J.D. Vance and pouring money into our state elections to elect anti-labor candidates, the stakes couldn’t be higher. Our goal is to contact nearly 100,000 union households – and we need your help.

Can we count on you to join the fight in these last seven days?

In Solidarity,

Team Texas AFL-CIO
