John, it's official: Election Day is in seven days, and my team and I are beyond excited to help voters get to the polls!
While we've accomplished a lot since early voting has started, we can't take our foot off the gas — there's still plenty of work to do to ensure all of our folks can have their voices heard.
So before I ask for your support in reaching our last End of Month Fundraising Goal before our upcoming deadline, I'd like to give you a clearer look into how your donation helps our team. Let's talk through a couple of important points:
1️⃣ I've always been a firm believer in the idea that voting is one of our greatest and most important privileges, and meeting this goal gives my team and I the resources we need to connect with voters and make sure they have all the information they need to take advantage of that privilege on or before November 5.
2️⃣ While I'm running uncontested this year, meeting this goal also ensures that my team and I can continue to reach folks — whether that's on their screens, at their doors, or through their mail – and make sure they've heard about other candidates running in important races who care about our communities as much as I do.
While I'm proud of the progress Illinois has made so far in reforming our criminal justice system, supporting working families, and protecting access to reproductive healthcare, I know that the key to building on this progress is continuing to elect people who actually care about our biggest issues.
But with a limited amount of time to get their messages out there, and ensure folks can cast their vote, we need your help to ramp up our field efforts. Before our End of Month Fundraising Deadline, will you chip in toward the $5,304 we need to reach our last online goal of the cycle?
