Hi folks, it’s Josh Stein, Democratic candidate for governor in North Carolina – the race NBC called “the biggest governor's race of 2024.”

I’m reaching out to you because although the finish line is in sight – Election Day is exactly one week away – victory is not guaranteed.

Our lead in the polls has dipped, and we can’t afford to be complacent. That’s why I’m humbly asking you to rush $3 right now and have your donation split between my campaign and the Democratic Governors Association.

This is one of the most important elections of our lives, and not just because of the race for the White House: here in North Carolina, we’re up against a radical conspiracy theorist and a reportedly self-proclaimed “Nazi.”

I’ve spent decades serving our state and fighting for our people because I want all North Carolinians to have the opportunity to build their lives and futures in this state. But my opponent is threatening that opportunity.

North Carolinians are left with a clear choice: will we continue on a path of progress? Or will we allow Mark Robinson to drag us backward and make our state one where far-right extremism and hatred can thrive? I shudder at the thought of the damage he could inflict if he wins, which is why it’s so scary that the race is as close as it is.

North Carolina is the GOP’s target. They know their path to the White House runs through our state – that’s why they’ve poured $15 million into this race and nominated far-right extremists at every level of the ballot. But we’re fighting back, and we can’t slow down now that there’s only one week left.

It’s critical that Democrats everywhere work together to win battleground states like North Carolina. So please, will you rush $3 or more before midnight to be split between my campaign and the Democratic Governors Association to win this critical race and defeat Republicans across the country?
