When will it be ok for candidates to door knock again

A Special Message from American Majority

Campaigning use to be all about shaking hands and knocking on doors of potential voters. When can political candidates get out in their communities and start knocking on people’s doors to have those important conservations with potential voters?

[link removed] take a moment and watch a special video from American Majority Chief of Staff Lonny Leitner by clicking here. ([link removed])

Afterwards, please take a few minutes out of your day and
share your feelings with us ([link removed]) on political door to door canvassing and door knocking so we can learn the mood of everyday Americans when it comes to political campaigning during these uncertain times in which we are living.

With your participation and many others, we will compile the results of our findings and share it so people volunteering on campaigns or even running for office themselves will know how people feel about campaigning.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us.

Keep the Faith,
Lonny Leitner
American Majority - Chief of Staff

How to run an absentee ballot/vote by mail program and incorporate it into your campaign strategy

A campaign has to be prepared for anything. An entire campaign comes down to the final stretch.

Even in a crisis your campaign has to turn out the vote. How do you get identified supporters to vote early or turn in their vote by mail if that is their only option. It’s simple if you know how to identify voters, contact them and chase the votes into the ballot box.

Learn how targeting voters, canvassing, phone-banking, targeted door-knocking and effective campaign data management all contribute to a successful Mail in / Absentee Ballot and GOTV (get-out-the-vote) programs.

This training will also include a case study of what we learned from Wisconsin in 2020 and how you can take those lessons and apply it to your next campaign or advocacy effort.

This is a training that must not be missed!

Tuesday, May 19, 7 pm to 8 pm Central Time -
Topic: Campaign in a Crisis Series: Effective Advocacy in a Crisis
Jennifer DeJournett, Executive Director Minnesota

RSVP: [link removed] ([link removed])

During a crisis or when time is running out on a decision, it is critical that any advocacy effort is effective and makes a difference. Yelling at clouds won’t make the difference, but being clear, organized, purposeful and knowing how to make your voice heard does.

Being organized and mobilizing other grassroots leaders, activists and the broader community makes the difference. This training will help you learn practical ways to communicate to elected leaders regarding the causes you are passionate about and how to effectively mobilize and organize your community to advocate for change.
