A “Learning Healthcare System” is a “big data” approach to medicine that aims to improve patient care and clinical outcomes by bringing together patients, families, doctors, and researchers. For children with epilepsy, this highly collaborative way of collecting and analyzing health records may improve healthcare to reduce seizures and their devastating consequences.
Our webinar speaker, Dr. Zach Grinspan, is the primary investigator behind the Pediatric Epilepsy Learning Healthcare System project. During his presentation, he will discuss the progress and potential impact of his project on epilepsy patients, their families, and the entire epilepsy research community, as well as how these systems can improve seizure management.
At the end of his talk, Dr. Grinspan will address audience questions on this innovative project. You can ask your questions live or submit them ahead of time here ([link removed]) .
