Good afternoon,

Madness ensued this past weekend when former President Donald Trump held a rally at Madison Square Garden. The rally featured "crude and racist insults." Tony Hinchcliffe, a stand-up comic, delivered a joke-free screed of disgusting race-tinged attacks that included calling Puerto Rico a "floating island of garbage". This idiotic and disgusting move has proved politically damaging to the Trump campaign, as more than two-thirds of Puerto Ricans live in the U.S. and make up the second largest Latino group in the country, including in battleground states like Pennsylvania. It's time to end the madness and move forward instead. Only chaos, hatred, and noise follow Trump.

BIDEN'S BALLOT

• Yesterday, President Joe Biden stood in line with other early voters to cast his vote for Vice President Kamala Harris in Delaware. When asked if it was bittersweet, the president responded, "No, this is just sweet." While campaigning for Harris-Walz, Biden has shown confidence and has touted the administration's achievements.

• Since suspending his campaign for the presidency, Biden has been extremely supportive of Harris stepping up and positive about the transition. Regardless of the outcome, President Biden will oversee a peaceful and orderly transfer of power. However, a Trump loss might spur another hemorrhage of conspiracies and violence in the weeks between Election Day and the Inauguration. HARRIS HEADED FOR THE FINISH LINE

• According to a new national survey from ABC News and Ipsos, Vice President Kamala Harris has regained her 4-point lead over former President Donald Trump. The last time she had this lead over Trump was back in August. With the election just one week away, Harris campaign aides and allies are growing cautiously optimistic about her winning the election. The campaign has been ramping up its efforts to cast Trump as a fascist which goes hand in hand with building momentum in battleground states and connecting with female voters.

• Later today, Vice President Harris will deliver the closing argument of her campaign from the Ellipse in Washington D.C. The location is symbolic, as it is where Trump helped incite the attack on the U.S. Capitol. However, rather than focus on Jan. 6, Harris is expected to reinforce her key message - that "it's time to move on from the Trump era." The clock is ticking for rural America and now more than ever, we need a leader who will steer our country in a new, more hopeful direction for all.

• This evening, Vice President Kamala Harris is delivering an address at the Ellipse in Washington, D.C.

• Tomorrow, Vice President Harris campaigns in North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
