We want to preface this email by saying: it’s not some BS campaign tactic.

We’re reaching out because our fundraising is way down this month compared with September. Take a look at this graph of our fundraising numbers, which we pulled directly from ActBlue:

We’ll level with you: this fundraising dropoff has caught us off-guard, and it’s a big, big obstacle to our campaign’s success this final week. Will you please rush a donation to help us catch and win this race before it’s too late?

This is not the position we expected to be in. Most tossup House races are seeing a huge surge in donations right now, but our race seems to be flying under the radar.

We’re not sure why, because polling shows a near tie here, and our opponent is a self-funding multimillionaire who’s attacking Andrea relentlessly in his TV ads.

There’s one week to go, and we’re running out of time to fix this. Anything you can contribute will help push us to victory. Will you pitch in any amount today?
