Holidays like Halloween can feel like all trick and no treat for deployed service members and their families — who miss out on festivities like trick-or-treating, gathering with friends and watching scary movies.

That’s why we’ve worked hard this month to bring the spirit of the season to service members by decorating USO Centers across the globe, stocking them with favorite treats from home and hosting fun-filled events to bring members of the military community together.

And with so many service members spending Halloween deployed far away from home and their loved ones this year — even something as simple as showing your support by displaying a patriotic pumpkin in your community can mean so much to those who serve and their families.
