There is only one week left to vote, John!

So whether you’re voting early like me, voting absentee or waiting for Election Day itself, there’s only one week left to inspire climate voters to do their civic duty. Don’t miss your chance to snap a picture and show your favorite voting traditions!

In the last four years, the United States has made more progress than ever in tackling climate change thanks to the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and the Inflation Reduction Act, two signature pieces of legislation that EDF members helped pass.

By making your voice heard at the voting booth, you play an equally vital role by choosing who will have the power to create policies that affect our climate. This includes whether we should have cleaner air, water and energy or pay increasingly higher costs from dangerous extreme weather.

And every race on the ballot matters. State, county and city officials play pivotal roles and, alongside ballot measures, could affect how we make and implement environmental and health policies.

So, if you haven’t voted already, get out there! Early voting is already underway. And if you have, share your voting selfies and traditions with us!
