Dear Friend,

We are days away from one of the most important elections of our lifetime and we are reaching out because we have an easy, fun way to show your support for and help elect Vice President Kamala Harris: make your own yard sign!

→ Why make your own yard/window sign? Because we know that Vice President Harris supports what our families need, like access to abortion, paid leave, affordable child care, and more and we know that Donald Trump does NOT support these things and in fact would take us backwards. We are not going back.

That’s where the yard signs come in: Studies show that signs supporting a specific candidate DO make a difference. [1] Especially in communities where signs are dominated by one candidate (Trump!), just a few signs with the other candidate's name (Harris!) can signify to your neighbors that there is support and give them permission to vote for the candidate not widely accepted in their community. [2]

Say Yes! And Grab some poster board, the back of a pizza box, a Halloween pumpkin, your kid’s arts and crafts supplies….or simply download one of the pre-made signs we created and create your own sign. Feel free to use lots of colors, glitter–just get creative! And share your signs with us! Take pics and tag MomsRising and MamasConPoder and use the hashtag #MomsForHarris to help make your yard signs go even further on social media! 

We need YOU to help us get out the word that Vice President Kamala Harris is what our country needs right now at this critical moment. Whether you are voting for her because you care about reproductive rights, want to safeguard democracy, create an economy where all workers can thrive, or simply because you believe she will provide a brighter future for your children, showing your support with a yard/car/window/door sign sends a powerful message.

This is also a fun way to get your kids involved in the election! You can paint your Halloween pumpkin with a “Vote for Harris” message. Host a “Vote for Harris” arts and crafts party with your neighbors. Or just let them color our downloadable sign while they are watching their favorite episode of Bluey.
