If you follow the news – or just go outside – you know that heat records have already been shattered in communities around the world this year. July was the warmest July on record for the globe, according to NOAA – and the 14th consecutive month of record-high global temperatures. Even worse, as global surface temperatures continue to rise – largely thanks to fossil fuels – we’ll continue to experience more frequent and intense storms like Helene and Milton. I have reason to hope, however. Just last week, Climate Reality wrapped up a virtual Climate Reality Leadership Corps training, equipping thousands of activists across the US with a deeper understanding of the latest climate science and solutions, the fossil fuel playbook to stop progress, and the road to a clean energy future. During the training, attendees had opportunities to network, coordinate and discuss ideas for organizing at home, and plug into Climate Reality’s national chapter network and campaigns to create the clean energy transition we need. That’s where you come in, Climate Champion. This is a critical moment to support our winning grassroots movement to help power our work to end the era of fossil fuels and accelerate a just transition to clean energy. Will you make a gift of $15 or more today to help us train more activists like these? Climate Champion, join me in the fight to save our planet for ourselves and our loved ones by donating today. Please, before our end of month deadline expires, donate $15 or more to Climate Reality to sustain our fight to preserve our planet for generations to come. Thank you for supporting us at this critical time, Erin Taylor
