We're almost there, John.
As this election comes to its peak, candidates and campaigns in Iowa and across the country are making their closing arguments to voters. You can tell a lot about a candidate's priorities by looking at the things they say in the final days leading up to the election.
Donald Trump made his priorities clear at his hate-filled rally in New York last weekend. To a crowd of thousands, his campaign made statements about immigrants, the Black community, and the Puerto Rican community that were dripping with hate and devoid of reality.
He and my opponent in this race are parroting the same extremist ideology in the lead up to this election.
I’ve witnessed my opponent give non-answers and repeat canned, extremist lines that sow hatred and run counter our community’s values. Either he doesn't know what's important to hardworking Iowans in this election, or he doesn't care.
Frankly, I can't decide which is worse.
We know what's at stake in this election: education, reproductive freedom, and democracy itself. When it's all said and done, I want to be able to say we left it all out on the field to win this election. Will you donate $11 today to help us make a final push before election day?

I've said it before and I'll keep saying it until I'm blue in the face: Iowa deserves better than this. We deserve leaders who spend more time on the needs of Sioux City than far-right extremism.
We've been working together to elect the leaders we need and build our vision of Iowa. Now, it's time to see it through. Can you chip in $11 to our campaign and help us reach undecided voters before Election Day?
