Dear John,

Amidst the busyness of the fall season, I want to thank all the volunteers who served at the October Unto Mission Packing Project!

I am happy to report that 2,097 volunteers helped pack thousands of lifesaving supplies that will serve more than 82,938 suffering people. The critical items prepared for shipment will soon be on their way to some of the most hard-to-reach places on earth.

Here is just a snapshot of what was accomplished:

  • 41,318 people will soon receive clothing.
  • 24,000 children will receive school supplies so they can learn.
  • 7,680 people will receive lifesaving medical supplies.
  • 1,620 women will receive luopacks.
  • 6,768 people will receive a 30-day supply of nutritious meals.
  • 1,552 people will receive a blanket to keep them warm.

Local staff teams will personally distribute the aid that has been packed. As relationships are built, they will also share about the eternal hope of Jesus.

The time and service volunteers dedicate to help ensure suffering people in the toughest places receive the lifesaving supplies they need to survive — and have the opportunity to hear the message of hope — makes an eternal difference.

Thank you to everyone who served. You are a blessing to many in the toughest places on earth.

Serving together,
