John,

In this presidential election year, we are constantly being told that
Americans are impossibly divided and that we can't come together
to solve the challenges before us.

Yet across the country, TPL is working with communities where
neighbors are connecting deeply with each other. We're creating
parks, protecting public land, designing schoolyards, and building
toward a shared future for us all.

This issue is not red. It's not blue. It's green.

Take California as an example. This November, voters will have the
opportunity to approve a groundbreaking climate bond that includes
significant funding for parks, land conservation, and environmental
justice initiatives. If passed, the bond will represent a crucial
investment in California's natural areas and a step forward in
our collective effort to combat extreme weather events.

As voters head to the polls this Election Day, access to the outdoors
is on the ballot. That's not by accident. Trust for Public Land
is working with communities to mobilize voter support for the future
we all want to see.

This November, millions of voters will have the opportunity to vote
"YES" on ballot measures that will generate billions of
new dollars for parks, conservation, and our climate.

Vote for the outdoors!

We're proud to be part of the movement that's building a
brighter future for everyone. Together, we can ensure more ballot
measures that support parks and public lands succeed, securing the
benefits of clean water, parks, and protected natural areas and
wildlife habitat for us all, no matter where we live or who's in
office.

With gratitude,

Bill Lee
