MSNBC Compares Trump’s Rally To A Nazi Rally at Madison Square Garden

Shame on them. New York Post: MSNBC is facing fierce backlash for using Nazi rally clips during its coverage of former President Donald Trump’s historic campaign event at Madison Square Garden on Sunday. The left-leaning network included footage from the 1939 Nazi rally at the New York City arena and compared it to Trump’s own rally, which packed the famed venue. “But that jamboree happening right now, you see it there on your screen in that place is particularly chilling because in 1939, more than 20,000 supporters of a different fascist leader, Adolf Hitler, packed the Garden for a so-called pro-America rally,” the anchor said while rolling the footage (New York Post). Newsmax: The Democrat vice presidential candidate, Gov. Tim Walz of Minnesota, also compared Trump’s rally to the 1939 event (Newsmax). Amuse: INCITEMENT: Yesterday’s Trump rally was filled with Americans from every walk of life including orthodox, conservative, reform, and secular Jews. I saw a woman in a burka. It wasn’t an anything like a Nazi rally. Shame on MSNBC (X). Elon Musk: Wow, MSNBC is utter scum of the Earth (X). Riley Gaines: Obama last week: “How did things get so divisive?” MSNBC last night (X).

Kamala Harris Wants to Double Federal Minimum Wage
This would make everything more expensive. Washington Examiner: Vice President Kamala Harris pledged her support for doubling the federal minimum wage from $7.25 an hour to at least $15 in an interview Tuesday evening. Harris made the remarks while talking about President Joe Biden’s economic record in an interview with NBC, saying they would work with Congress to make the change. The comments come after discourse over whether Harris worked at McDonald’s in her youth, as she claims, and after former President Donald Trump visited a McDonald’s and worked the fryer over the weekend. Harris also called $7.25 an hour “poverty wages” on Monday, saying that it is difficult to make a living earning such a low wage (Washington Examiner).

NATO Confirms North Korean Troops in Russia
Fox News: NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte confirmed on Monday that North Korean troops have been sent to help Russia in its war against Ukraine, representing the “growing desperation” of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Rutte told reporters that increasing military cooperation between Russia and North Korea “is a threat” to Indo-Pacific and Euro-Atlantic security… Russia is currently fighting back against a Ukrainian incursion into the Kursk region. Rutte said the addition of North Korean troops in the conflict represents “a significant escalation” in and marks “a dangerous expansion” of “Russia’s illegal war” (Fox News). Washington Post: A former Kremlin official, who is still close to government circles, said the North Korean deployment in Kursk was “an act of revenge after what the Kremlin perceives as an escalation in Kursk” and the decision by Kyiv’s Western allies to allow strikes inside Russia (Washington Post).

While on Home-Stretch of the Election, Kamala Harris Sidelines President Biden
Free Beacon: In the final days before the election, Vice President Kamala Harris is sidelining her boss, President Joe Biden, over concerns that the octogenarian is a political liability. Harris has no scheduled events with Biden with just eight days until the election. Biden has repeatedly left days open on his schedule to campaign for Harris, but her team has let those days pass without any response (Free Beacon). HotAir: There may be another reason why Team Kamala wants Biden on the sidelines. The more he talks, the more obvious his incapacity becomes, and the more questions it raises about Harris. She still can’t answer why she is the nominee instead of Biden if nothing’s wrong with him, as Harris keeps claiming. It is so obviously dishonest that the only way Harris and her campaign team can avoid dealing with it is to keep Biden as far away as possible (HotAir).

CNN: Authorities are investigating after at least two ballot boxes were set on fire Monday morning in the Portland, Oregon, area. An “incendiary device” was placed inside the box and security personnel extinguished the fire, officials said. CNN has reached out to Multnomah County Elections office for comment. Israel Ignores Warnings From U.S.; Bans UNRWA in Gaza
Jerusalem Post: The Knesset plenum approved final voting for two bills aimed at blocking the activity in areas under Israeli control of the UN Relief and Works Agency, which services Palestinian refugees in east Jerusalem, Gaza, and the West Bank. Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee chairman MK Yuli Edelstein presented both bills in the plenum. According to Edelstein, UNRWA’s operations “eternalized” the issue of Palestinian refugees. In addition, Edelstein cited the fact that UNRWA employees had participated in, and even served as commanders, in the October 7 Hamas massacre. Edelstein also mentioned incitement in UNRWA school curriculums. According to Edelstein, the time had come to ban the agency from Israel. Edelstein did not address in his speech who would replace the services UNRWA provides for Palestinians in east Jerusalem, Gaza, and the West Bank (Jerusalem Post). Times of Israel: US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller urges Israel not to implement legislation that would curtail UNRWA’s operations in Gaza… US law bars the transfer of offensive weapons to countries that are blocking the delivery of humanitarian aid, and Miller suggests that barring the main agency responsible for aid delivery from doing its job could lead to curbs on US aid to Israel (Times of Israel).

IDF Withdrawals From Hospital in Gaza After Detaining Militants Who Disguised Themselves as Hospital Employees
Times of Israel: Israeli troops have withdrawn from the Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip, the Israel Defense Forces said on Monday, having wrapped up a raid launched Friday against Hamas operatives it said were using the Jabalia hospital as a command and control base. The hospital raid did not bring the IDF’s activities in northern Gaza to a close, however, with the military saying that according to its assessments, hundreds more Hamas operatives remain in the Jabalia area. Thus, it said, the operation launched there three weeks ago would continue… The IDF said that some 40 terror operatives were detained during the evacuations from the hospital, and the Navy’s elite Shayetet 13 commando unit detained dozens more during the subsequent raid, including some who had participated in the October 7 terror onslaught in southern Israel (Times of Israel). Washington Post: An IDF official, speaking on the condition of anonymity under the ground rules of a news briefing, said Monday that some militants had “disguised themselves as medical staff,” so it was forced to “check the medical staff as well.” A number of militants — including Hamas members who took part in the Oct. 7, 2023, attacks on Israel, it said — had “barricaded” themselves inside the hospital, the IDF statement added (Washington Post).

Treasurers, Investors Insist Corporations Abandon DEI Practices
Daily Wire: Treasurers and financial managers from 17 different states along with 60 investors urged America’s top corporations to ditch their “discriminatory” diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) agendas, warning that they could be in violation of both their fiduciary duties and open companies up to legal risk. The two letters to Fortune 1,000 companies came after they were contacted by a coalition of Democrat politicians, who wrote to them in support of the leftwing DEI agenda and argued that DEI programs create “a culture of equality” that “allows your companies to remain competitive.” Corporations throughout the country and across various industries have adopted blatantly discriminatory policies in the name of the DEI agenda. For example, white and Asian students were ineligible for an internship and scholarship opportunity with Oracle, while Apple hosted a program that similarly excluded whites and Asians because of their race (Daily Wire). Viewpoint Diversity: While nearly every company rated publicly commits to “diversity, equity, and inclusion” along the lines of race and sexuality, no scored company has a policy that explicitly protects and encourages respect for political and religious differences (Viewpoint Diversity).

Volkswagen to Close Three Plants for First Time in 87 Years
CNN: Volkswagen plans to close “at least” three factories in Germany, lay off tens of thousands of staff and downsize remaining plants in the country, the company’s employee group said Monday. The domestic factory closures would be the first in Volkswagen’s 87-year history, and they lay bare the challenges facing Germany’s largest manufacturer. The plans are already facing pushback from labor unions in the country, where Volkswagen employs 295,000 people, setting the stage for possible strikes in the coming weeks. Volkswagen has been locked in negotiations with unions for weeks over its plans to cut costs and restructure business operations (CNN). Wall Street Journal: Labor costs in Germany are the highest in Europe, according to an analysis by the German Association of the Automotive Industry, while energy costs in the country have risen since it lost access to cheap Russian gas as a result of the war in Ukraine. Other measures disclosed by Volkswagen’s works council Monday include removing a premium payment that forms part of a collective bargaining agreement that would see some employees take an overall 18% pay cut. Some work would also be moved abroad or outsourced to external providers (Wall Street Journal).
