Now that's garbage, but this is the truth: Donald Trump is a bigot with none of the integrity, spirit, or resilience that the Puerto Rican people live by every day. From tossing paper towels after Hurricane Maria to promoting this scumbag message, he’s shown us who he really is.

Puerto Rico is 'la Isla del Encanto,' not la isla de la basura. La basura es Donald Trump. And garbage collection day is November 5th!

Today, I was proud to stand with my fellow elected officials in condemning the racist and anti-American attacks targeting Puerto Rico by Donald Trump and his extreme MAGA-right allies.

We can't be afraid to say this out loud, to stand against hatred in all its ugly forms, and to fight for all of us.
