It’s Andrea. Of the many things I bet you won’t miss about election season, I’m guessing the constant fundraising emails are one of them — especially the emails you get whenever another big deadline approaches. So I’ve got good news: this Thursday is our VERY LAST monthly fundraising deadline of the campaign. BUT we do still need to take this deadline seriously. Not only is our race statistically tied, but there is an unusually high number of undecided voters still making up their minds — and failing to meet our goal means we lose the opportunity to make our case to them. Here’s what that all boils down to: If we reach this goal, then when these voters cast their ballots, they’ll do so with information from our campaign — an ad, a phone call, or a face-to-face conversation — at the top of their mind. But if we fall short, and don’t have the resources to reach out to these voters, then it’s likely that an attack ad about me from my opponent is the last thing they’ll see before they vote.
