Hi folks. My team let me know that we aren’t on track to reach our October fundraising goal: We made a mistake in our projections, and are now facing a gap in our budget.

It may be “spooky season,” but I’m not here to scare you into making a donation. We won’t guilt you, lure you in with fake “matches,” or tell you that the sky is falling when it’s not.

My megamillionaire opponent has self-funded more than any other Senate candidate in the country to flip this seat red — and it looks like he’s close to succeeding with two back-to-back polls showing him taking a one-point lead.

As Eric Hovde and his allies outspend us on the airwaves in these final weeks before Election Day, we’ve got to hit each and every one of our goals to ensure that we can get our message in front of as many voters as possible.

But I can’t self-fund like my opponent can, which means I’m relying on this incredible team of grassroots supporters — folks like you, friend — to avoid getting drowned out.
