Dear Friends --
If we're going to succeed in changing more laws to solve our housing shortage and affordability crisis, we need to elect more champions to the state legislature.
Several of our key legislative champions are terming out this year, including Senator Nancy Skinner. We need to ensure that the incoming legislature has allies who will help us pass bold legislation in 2025 and 2026 to build more homes across California's cities.
That's why California YIMBY has made the following endorsements for statewide ballot propositions and for Northern and Central California state legislative races:

You can read more about these endorsements and find links to their websites at California YIMBY’s endorsement hub!
We did not make endorsements on every ballot proposition or in every state legislative race. California YIMBY only endorses candidates we believe will support our housing agenda in Sacramento. And we only make endorsements on ballot propositions that will have a major impact on housing policy in California.
The YIMBY movement has racked up a growing number of successes in the state legislature. But there is much more to be done to help build housing for everyone. With ballots in voters' hands, time is running out to help win these crucial elections.
So if you're excited about ending California's housing shortage and our affordable housing crisis,
now is the time to step up and contribute $20 or more to help California YIMBY elect housing champions across California!
Gratefully,
Konstantin
