Widow of slain sheriff told Walz he was not welcome at the
deputy's funeral, saying she'd 'kick his ass' out of there
In 2023, Pope County Sheriff's Deputy Josh Owen was killed in the
line of duty. His widow, Shannon, warned Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz not to
show up at the funeral, saying she would not tolerate his presence there
due to his anti-police stance.
