In a minute, for the final time before the election, I’m going to ask you to make a contribution to our campaign. But first, let me tell you why it’s so critical.
Thousands and thousands of San Francisco voters have yet to fill out their ballots. And many haven’t made up their mind about who to support for mayor. This race remains wide open.
The response we’ve been getting on voters’ doorsteps and on the phone over the past few days has been incredible.
Yet, one of my opponents is using his inherited wealth to smother San Francisco in his campaign advertising, trying to convince voters through sheer force that his inexperience is an asset. I disagree.
San Franciscans are ready for a mayor who is committed to making this city work for all of us again. Our neighbors are ready for a mayor who comes from the labor community, who knows what it means to work for a living, who understands what it takes to fight for working families–and deliver.
