Republicans take voting cases to SCOTUS

  • The Republican National Committee (RNC) asked the U.S. Supreme Court today to block Pennsylvania voters from being able to cast provisional ballots on Election Day if their mail-in ballots are rejected due to a technical mistake.

  • Virginia election officials asked the U.S. Supreme Court yesterday to reinstate Gov. Glenn Youngkin’s (R) voter purge program that kicked naturalized citizens and other eligible voters off the rolls. The program is currently blocked by lower courts.

Voters should mail ballots by tomorrow for delivery by Election Day

  • The U.S. Postal Service recommended that voters mail their ballots by tomorrow if their state requires mail-in ballots to be received by Election Day. The Postal Service says it will continue to deploy "extraordinary measures" to accelerate election mail.

RNC keeps losing mail-in voting cases in swing states

  • In a win for voters, the Nevada Supreme Court rejected former President Donald Trump and the RNC’s lawsuit trying to toss certain Nevada mail-in ballots received within three days of Election Day. These ballots will be counted this year.

  • The RNC and Michigan GOP appealed a state judge’s decision that rejected their lawsuit trying to disqualify the votes of certain overseas and military voters. The Michigan judge called the lawsuit an "11th hour attempt to disenfranchise" voters.
