JOhn,

If you’re particularly stressed about the 2024 elections, it can sometimes be easy to start to feel a bit of a sense of hopelessness. People are feeling anxious, and I get it — elections are stressful (for both candidates and voters!), and the stakes are high.

But take it from an optimist: Nothing is a foregone conclusion, and we DO have the power to create the outcomes we all want in this election.

We have an opportunity in just 8 days to protect our Senate majority, take back the House, send Kamala Harris and Tim Walz to the White House, and truly make the kind of progress the American people deserve.

And I’m genuinely optimistic that together, we can get it done! But it won’t happen without a little elbow grease, and it definitely won’t happen if we give in to hopelessness. Are you with me?

Split a donation of any amount that’s meaningful to you today between my campaign and Suhas Subramanyam, and let’s use these final days to turn out a record-breaking number of Democratic voters.

At the beginning of last year, I decided to run for re-election to the Senate because I really do have hope for what we can accomplish.

Over the past few years, we’ve proven that with Democrats in power, progress is delivered — from the American Rescue Plan to the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to long-overdue progress on gun violence prevention.

I’m a public servant through and through. I love Virginia. I'm proud of what we’ve done so far. And I've got a whole lot more I want to do.

If you’re ready to join me in optimism and in progress, I’m asking you to donate to my re-election campaign and Suhas right now, so we can reach as many voters as possible before November 5th.

Thank you so much.
