Friends-- Less than a year ago, I alerted you that
a group of Attorneys General had launched an all-out legal
assault on the Affordable Care Act. Because President Trump's
Department of Justice refused to defend the law, it fell on me
and a team of Democratic Attorneys General to fight back.
We stepped up and defended the law in a federal court in Texas --
and we did again at an appeals court in New Orleans. I am
fighting for the 800,000 Washingtonians, including those with
preexisting conditions, whose health care will be stripped if the
Affordable Care Act goes away.
In March, the United States Supreme Court announced that it
would hear the Republican Attorneys General's ideological legal
challenge to ObamaCare. Last week, in the midst of hundreds of
thousands of hospitalizations caused by the global pandemic,
President Trump doubled down on his campaign promise to
"terminate health care under Obamacare."
We can't let that happen. Add your name today to protect the
Affordable Care Act:

Donald Trump's renewed obsession with ending the Affordable Care
Act could not have come at a worse time. More Americans have died
from COVID-19 than in the entirety of the Vietnam War. Now more
than ever, we must protect Washingtonians' access to health care
-- not rip it away from them.
To be blunt, if Donald Trump and William Barr want to join the
Republican state Attorneys General's legal assault on the
Affordable Care Act, we'll take them on in court too -- and we
will beat them just as we've done 28 times already.
