Wisconsin is one of the most important swing states in the country. It’s also a place with a LOT of farms, farmers, and cows. Farming is an integral part of Wisconsin's identity — so much so that football fans wear their iconic cheese hats to the games.

So it’s pretty important that their Senator be familiar with the blockbuster legislation known as the Farm Bill, which is the lifeblood of the American farming industry. But California carpetbagger Eric Hovde, the millionaire Republican banker running to unseat beloved Democratic Wisconsin Senator Tammy Baldwin, apparently doesn’t feel like it’s very important.

Hovde just sparked a storm of criticism by smearing the Farm Bill as “a big grab bag of spending,” and complaining that it’s “insane” for people to expect him to be know what’s in the bill. This makes it obvious that he doesn’t care about what’s important to the people of Wisconsin — and we need to make sure that Wisconsin voters know that before Election Day.

Re-elect Senator Tammy Baldwin and protect our Senate majority!

This huge blunder is the perfect opportunity for Senator Baldwin to pull away from Hovde and gain a leg up in what has become a very tight race, with the most recent polls showing the two candidates neck and neck, tied at 48% of the vote each.

With the election drawing closer and closer, we need to rush Tammy the resources she needs to flood the airwaves with Eric Hovde’s condescending comments and make sure Wisconsinites know exactly what kind of a man is trying to represent them in the Senate — and what he thinks of the bill that means so much to so many Wisconsin farmers.
