Hi John,

For the last several weeks, I’ve been all over our state for local leaders and across our country for Kamala Harris to support the campaigns that will move our communities forward in this election.

From Smithfield to Barrington to Middletown and everywhere in between, it’s been motivating to see Rhode Island leaders ensuring our local and state governments reflect our values and focus on strengthening the places we most care about.

I’ve also had the honor of representing Team Rhode Island as a surrogate for the Harris-Walz campaign, hitting the road in Charlotte, Winston-Salem, and Research Triangle, North Carolina; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and Metro Atlanta & Macon, Georgia.

From church visits to phonebanks to big rallies, in all of my stops, I tell voters and volunteers that I’m pounding the pavement wherever I can, to whomever I can because the stakes are high and we’re in this together. Our access to opportunity and freedom will be decided for us in this election regardless of whether we’re in a blue state, purple state, or red state.
