Money bail creates a two-tiered system of justice. Every day people who can’t
afford the price of their freedom are trapped behind bars, while others with
the means to pay can return home to await their day in court. It shouldn’t be
this way. Money shouldn’t determine freedom.



We must end money bail!



Vera and our local partners across the country are championing a new system of
pretrial justice, but political fear mongering has driven a renewed backlash
against reform.
