On this call, we’ll hear from special guest Grace Wagner! Grace is one of
our volunteers based in Arizona whose mom was an OB/GYN nurse.

Grace remembers the heartfelt human interest stories and modern medicine
examples that inspired her respect for the profession. This experience
helped inform Grace’s belief that everybody deserves the quality of life
that timely and responsible medical care can provide.

With this in mind, Grace recently attended an event in Arizona where she
had an intimate conversation with a candidate and persuaded them to sign
the Patients Over Profits Pledge!

After we hear from Grace, we’ll talk about how you can help us reach our
goal of 300 pledge signers before the polls close next Tuesday, November
5th.

This final week before the 2024 general election —when candidates across
the country are running for office and still actively taking donations —
is the perfect opportunity to build our movement of politicians who reject
campaign contributions of $200 or more from the for-profit health care
industry. We know this is ultimately how we will lay the groundwork and
build the political will that will be needed to win guaranteed health care
through Medicare for All.
