John – it’s
Shelbi, Jon Tester’s Campaign Manager. I just made a tough decision that
you need to hear about immediately.
According to several recent reports, Tim Sheehy lied about his military
service.
1. On the campaign trail, Sheehy claimed he had a gunshot wound in his
arm from combat. But according to the New York Times, public records,
and firsthand accounts—including a Navy SEAL who served with
Sheehy—his gunshot wound was from accidentally shooting himself in the
arm in Glacier National Park.
2. Days later, NBC News released another bombshell report stating Sheehy
lied about being “medically discharged” from the Navy.
It’s shocking—and Montanans must know the truth but we’re running out of
time.
So I made the difficult decision to launch more television and digital ads
today. The money isn’t in the budget yet—but with polls in the margin of
error, running these final ads could be enough to break the tie in Jon’s
favor and win this race.

fund these last-minute ads. How you respond right now could be the
difference between winning and losing.

Every time I take a risk on this campaign, it’s because I believe in this
team. I’m confident grassroots supporters like you—who’ve stepped up time
and time again—will help us win this Senate race.
With just 8 days until Election Day, Jon and our team need you now more
than ever.
Thank you,
Shelbi
