Helping low-wage domestic workers
Team,

As we face this public health and economic crisis of historic proportions, communities across the country are struggling. Many workers don’t have the resources they need to provide for their families — and some are ineligible to access government assistance altogether.

Established by the National Domestic Workers Alliance, the Coronavirus Care Fund is helping low-wage domestic workers (in-home care workers, house cleaners, nannies, etc.) impacted by this pandemic.

Lacking access to healthcare, sick time, and job security, domestic workers are weathering this crisis without a safety net.

As we fight for all families right now (including to protect our healthcare and stop price gougers), we can’t forget about those in our communities who are often overlooked. If you’re in a position to make a small donation, join me in supporting this relief fund:

100% of funds raised go directly to support domestic workers

The horrific realities of this pandemic are stark, but let’s keep doing all we can to get through this together.

In health and in gratitude,

Xavier
