Reliable information, access to medical care, available PPE, centralized
contact tracing…

 

It’s all about working to keep Hoosiers safe as we continue to take measured,
data-driven steps on Indiana’sBack on Track Plan <[link removed]>.

 

And, as Governor Holcomb said today, it’s about providing us all with
reassurance along the way.

 

That’s why Governor Holcomb announced that as we continue the phased-in
reopening of businesses (with many more opening today as part of Phase Two), he
willcontinue to hold updates every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 2:30 p.m.

It’s also why Indiana’s centralized contact tracing launched today. As
Hoosiers start to leave home more, this will help us limit the spread by:

 

* Better tracing who has been infected.
* Contacting those they’ve come in contact with.
* Consulting and treating those individuals directly and limit further
exposure. <[link removed]>
Indiana’s got a team of 325 people working right now to help us keep track of
the spread among Hoosiers, with that reaching 500 contact tracers by the end of
the month. Their job is to help keep this virus from spreading further – and be
assured thatall information gathered by contact tracing is kept private.

And one more piece of reassurance – know that our state’s healthcare heroes
remain here for you. With the lifting of restrictions on elective procedures,
now is the time to make sure you still have your preventative screenings
scheduled – especially for our youngest Hoosiers. It could save lives.

Here in Indiana, we’re getting Back on Track, and know that Governor Holcomb
and your state leaders are here – every step of the way.
