It’s all about working to keep Hoosiers safe as we continue to take measured, data-driven steps on Indiana’s Back on Track Plan.
And, as Governor Holcomb said today, it’s about providing us all with reassurance along the way.
That’s why Governor Holcomb announced that as we continue the phased-in reopening of businesses (with many more opening today as part of Phase Two), he will continue to hold updates every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 2:30 p.m. ET/1:30 p.m. CT. If you haven’t been watching, you can tune in here.
It’s also why Indiana’s centralized contact tracing launched today. As Hoosiers start to leave home more, this will help us limit the spread by:
Indiana’s got a team of 325 people working right now to help us keep track of the spread among Hoosiers, with that reaching 500 contact tracers by the end of the month. Their job is to help keep this virus from spreading further – and be assured that all information gathered by contact tracing is kept private.
