I wanted to make sure you saw the news that I'm calling on Governor Newsom to prioritize Central Valley farmworkers for COVID-19 testing.

I've worked in the agricultural businesses for years here in the Central Valley. I can tell you from firsthand experience that the men and women who feed this country are highly vulnerable to COVID-19. It's a contagious virus, and the work involved around farming demands close quarters conditions.

Friend, our national security depends on our frontline and farmworkers. State and federal governments have deemed them essential -- the least we can do is give them the protections they need to do their jobs safely.
