Last week, my campaign released a new campaign ad showing me injecting testosterone - a part of daily life for many transgender and non-binary persons like myself.

The goal of the ad: to send a shot across the bow of transphobic anti-LGBTQ bigots like my opponent Steve Scalise and send a message that we will not cower in the face of their hate.

Since we went viral we’ve seen a massive outpouring of support and a huge uptick in our fundraising come at a critical moment for our campaign as we head into our push to get out the vote.

The success of our video has given us a testosterone fueled rocket to the stratosphere with a final destination of defeating arch-transphobe Steve “David Duke without the Baggage” Scalise.

The enthusiasm for Kamala Harris and our campaign in our district is off the charts, and if there ever was a chance for us to unseat Scalise, it is now.
