This election Vote4SocialSecurity!

Dear Supporter,

Do you want higher Social Security Cost-of-Living Adjustments (COLAs)?

Right now, COLAs are calculated using an inflation formula for “Wage Earners & Clerical Workers” (CPI-W).

But most seniors are not wage earners and clerical workers.

We need a COLA formula that reflects older Americans’ REAL living costs.

This election, vote for candidates who support the CPI-E (Consumer Price Index - Elderly) for a fairer COLA! Take a few minutes to review the National Committee’s 2024 Congressional Scorecard ( [link removed] ) and find out how your members of Congress voted on key bills that could impact Social Security and Medicare!

To learn more about what’s at stake this election, listen to our recent podcast episode ( [link removed] ) with the National Committee Director of Government Relations & Policy Dan Adcock who explains the good and bad proposals for the future of Social Security.

And then, if you haven’t already mailed in your ballot or voted early, the best way for your voice to be heard on the future of Social Security is to go to the polls and CAST YOUR BALLOT.

You could face long lines at the polls, so please be prepared and be patient — your vote matters!

Sincerely,
