If you want to help me win this race, there are a few things you should know.
1. Record spending. My opponent’s out-of-state allies are pouring record funds into Maryland to support her campaign and launch negative political attacks against me–and we expect millions more to flow in before Election Day.
2. The polls show a tight race. Two recent polls even show TIED in a DEAD HEAT with Angela Alsobrooks. Even with all the political attacks coming my way, this just goes to show how strong our movement is.
3. Our last major fundraising deadline. We have just 3 DAYS to reach our FINAL end-of-month fundraising goal of the election on October 31. Time is running out to raise critical resources that will help me push back against my opponents’ record funding and boost my campaign during the final days.
Not only is reaching our monthly fundraising goal critical to stand a chance against my opponent’s record funding, but every dollar we raise right now will be key to funding the final few days of my campaign.
We’re the underdog. We have been since day one, and I didn’t expect that to change.
We have come an incredibly far way, but as outside-Democrat funding ticks up for my opponent, the time we have left until Election Day is quickly ticking down.
At the end of the day there is only one number that matters.
That’s the number of voters that get out and cast their ballot on Election Day.

When I launched my campaign for the U.S. Senate, I did so with a deep resolve to maintain the leadership style and principles that guided me during my eight years as governor.
Fifty years ago, my father, Maryland Congressman Larry Hogan Sr. made a tough decision. He became the first Republican to come out for the impeachment of President Nixon. He put aside party politics and his own personal considerations and stepped up to do the right thing for Maryland and the nation.
Today, Washington is completely broken because that kind of leadership and willingness to put country over party has become far too rare. But it’s not in my nature to sit back and watch the dysfunction continue without doing what I can to roll up my sleeves and get to work.
I’m under no illusion this will be an easy road. But I’m no stranger to uphill battles, and I know I can’t do it without your support.
I don't aspire to be a United States senator. I don’t need a title and I don’t need a job, but I’m more concerned than ever about the direction of the country and I have become more convinced that I can make a difference by taking the approach and style of leadership I had during my eight years as governor to Washington.
