WASHINGTON, D.C. – Last week, as part of our ongoing work to expose the truth about the Biden-Harris Administration’s dangerous Iran policy, America First Legal (AFL) launched a multi-front investigation of the Department of Defense (DOD), Department of State, Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) regarding the Biden-Harris Administration’s role in the alleged leak of two highly classified U.S. intelligence documents detailing Israel’s plans for an attack on Iran.
A Telegram account linked to the Iranian government published the documents on Thursday, October 17, 2024, claiming that they had been leaked by a U.S. insider. The documents are reportedly titled “Israel: Air Force Continues Preparations for Strike on Iran and Conducts a Second Large-Force Employment Exercise” and “Israel: Defense Force Continue Key Munitions Preparations and Covert UAV Activity Almost Certainly for a Strike on Iran.” Allegedly, they reflect NGA satellite and other U.S. signals surveillance of Israeli air bases and military and civilian communications for the purpose of showing Israel’s preparations for a strike on Iran. Reportedly, U.S. officials even tipped the Iranians to evacuate certain military and security installations belonging to the Revolutionary Guards. During the Obama Administration, U.S. officials allegedly leaked Israel’s plans to the Iranians.
Additionally, AFL sued DOD for unlawfully withholding records of Ariane Tabatabai, Christopher Maier, and other Biden-Harris DOD appointees allegedly responsible for the leak, although DOD denies that they were responsible. Along with Robert Malley and Salman Ahmed, Tabatabai is allegedly part of the pro-Iranian regime wing of the Biden-Harris Administration. Among other things, Tabatabai is closely linked to Phillip Gordon, a key Harris advisor. Reversing successful Trump Administration policies to bankrupt and isolate the regime, the Biden-Harris Administration has chosen to enrich it.
AFL will continue fighting to shed light on the Biden-Harris Administration’s connections to the brutal and anti-American Iranian regime.
