UPCOMING ONLINE EVENTS

Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) teams are racing to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are tackling COVID-19 while still maintaining other essential medical services in more than 70 countries.

Join us this week for our online events to find out how MSF is sustaining lifesaving medical aid for communities who are threatened by this evolving pandemic and other emergencies.
Join MSF and the Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative (DNDi) for a deeper look at the urgent need for an affordable and widely available COVID-19 vaccine and treatments.
 Thursday, May 14

1:00 - 2:00 PM EDT

The discussion will focus on MSF’s work to ensure that access and affordability are at the center of public health research, as well as on DNDi’s proven success in providing an alternative nonprofit model to develop drugs for the treatment of neglected diseases.

Speakers will include Joe Belliveau, executive director of MSF Canada, Jason Nickerson, humanitarian affairs advisor at MSF Canada, and Rachel Cohen, regional executive director of DNDi.
MSF-USA Virtual Mapathon

Thursday, May 14
6:00 - 8:00 PM EDT

Join MSF for a fun, engaging event that directly contributes to our humanitarian work.
At this virtual mapathon, we will work together to put missing regions and communities "on the map" in order to provide international and local non-governmental organizations with geographic data to better respond to crises.
Thursday, May 14

6:00 - 8:00 PM EDT

We will discuss the foundation of the Missing Maps Project , a special initiative founded by MSF, the American Red Cross, and the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team. Attendees will be provided with a step-by-step mapping tutorial. Beginner and experiences mappers are encouraged to attend.
Stay connected.
