Arizona Early Voting Update: Strong Turnout and Key Areas for Focus
Early turnout in Arizona is looking promising after starting out slow. In LD5, Democratic turnout has surged by nearly 10,000 votes, which is fantastic progress. However, there’s still work to do: overall Democratic turnout in Maricopa County is down compared to 2020, and in LD5 alone, 62,000 high-support Democratic voters haven’t yet cast their ballots.
With over 240 vote centers open, along with mail-in options, early voting allows us all to get our voices heard with less wait time and more convenience. If you are in Maricopa County, track your ballot or find your closest early voting location by going to BeBallotReady.Vote
To keep this momentum going, reaching out to these voters and ensuring they have the resources and encouragement to vote should be a top priority.

Important Reminders for Ballot Submission
If you or someone you know hasn’t mailed in their ballot yet, remember that it must be in the mail by Monday, October 28th, at 5 pm. After that, it’s too late to mail it, and the ballot should instead be dropped off at any vote center or drop box location. Check out where to vote here for easy access to these locations. And if someone hasn’t received their ballot by the 28th, they’ll need to vote in person at any of these sites.
Curing Ballots vs. Getting Out the Vote
We’re in a numbers game now, focused on getting as many ballots in as possible. Don’t worry; we’ll still be curing ballots too! Ballot-curing efforts begin right after the election, starting with phone banking and followed by in-person outreach. Interested in helping with ballot curing? Help every voter you can to make a voting plan—they’ll thank you for it! And have a very fun and safe Halloween this week.
