By now I think you know how bad things are because of the Coronavirus shutdown. 
  • Unemployment is nearly 15% -- the highest since the Great Depression.
  • Estimates are unemployment could rise to 20-25% or higher.
  • More than 33 million Americans have filed for unemployment. 
  • We've already spent more than $6 trillion in relief funding. 
  • Civil liberties are under growing attack from abusive officials. 

It is possible to keep Americans healthy and stop economic ruin. We can and must do both. 

It's time to safely reopen America.

It was reasonable to ask Americans to take steps voluntarily to “flatten the curve” to ensure our hospitals and medical infrastructure are prepared. We’ve done that.

But two weeks has turned into months and the goalposts keep moving. It's hitting small businesses especially hard. If we stick to the current government mandate approach, the damage could be irreparable. 

Enough. Let America open.
