With COVID-19 putting a dent in our plans to organize in the streets, phone banking is one of the most effective ways to advocate for these endorsed candidates. It’s a chance to reach out to your community, build relationships in this hard time, and let people know there are options for representatives that actually care.

Dear John,

Down ballot races are some of the most important things we can put our energy into right now to win a Green New Deal, which can address not only the hardship of this current health crisis, but set us up to tackle other crises of injustice in our politics and economy. All over the country, representative seats are up for grabs. We have to make sure they’re won by Green New Deal champions who care about representing the interests of the people, not lining their own pockets with money.

If there’s one thing our movement is great at, it’s gathering the power of thousands of people to make a real difference in these races. Our goal is to have 1000 people sign up to phone bank for our Green New Deal champions. We’re almost there—only 250 people left to meet that goal.

Will you help by signing up to phone bank for a champion near you?

We’re hosting phone banks Monday - Thursday evenings for candidates like Jamaal Bowman for NY-16, Andrew Romanoff for Colorado Senate, and Charles Booker for Kentucky Senate.

Jamaal Bowman is fighting for an America that belongs to the people – not the wealthy few. His platform includes a Green New Deal, Medicare For All, immigrant and women’s rights, restorative justice, a new deal for public education and for housing, and LGBTQ rights.

Andrew Romanoff believes America can and should lead the way by enacting a Green New Deal. His platform also includes ensuring health care for all, preventing gun violence, and enacting immigration reform.

Charles Booker is a lifelong Kentuckian who was born and raised in one of the poorest zip codes in the state. He’s fighting for a Green New Deal to create thousands of good jobs in Kentucky, and end the exploitation of land and labor.

With COVID-19 putting a dent in our plans to organize in the streets, phone banking is one of the most effective ways to advocate for these endorsed candidates. It’s a chance to reach out to your community, build relationships in this hard time, and let people know there are options for representatives that actually care.

Let's win this,
