John, what do Michigan’s 12th congressional district and North Carolina’s Durham County have in common? It’s actually more than you might think…
Nida was the first Muslim woman ever elected to public office in North Carolina and I was one of the first Muslim women elected to Congress. Now, I’m serving as the only Palestinian American in Congress, representing Michigan’s 12th congressional district.
So Nida and I both know what it is like to win tough battles. We’ve both been targeted because of our progressive views, our Muslim identities, and our support for Palestinian liberation. But we’ve never backed down in fighting for our communities. With early voting and mail-in voting already starting in our states, we are both working around the clock to help elect pro-ceasefire candidates to local, state, and federal office.
But we can only win these tough battles if we work together, John.
That’s why we’re asking our supporters to band together in the final 9 days before Election Day to help us Get Out the Vote for candidates up and down the ballot.
John, can you split a donation of $5, $10, or $25 between our campaigns today to help us turn out voters in the final days of the election?
