Donald Trump’s longest serving Chief of Staff and retired 4 star General
John Kelly told the New York Times this week that Trump "met the
definition of a fascist, would govern like a dictator if allowed, and had
no understanding of the Constitution or the concept of rule of law."
Yesterday, 13 former Trump officials published an open letter agreeing
with Kelly.
It will take real effort to get our base and sane Republicans to the
polls. This could win or lose us the election -- and our country.
One smart lever we can use to augment the Harris campaign's massive
grassroots Get Out The Vote push is helping candidates in races that can
flip Republican House seats in top presidential battlegrounds like
Pennsylvania and Michigan. Many of these races are underfunded -- and if
they can maximize their Get Out The Vote efforts, it also benefits the
presidential race.
[ [link removed] ]Chip in here $5 to 5 battleground-state Democrats who can flip seats
held by Republicans and give Democrats the House majority. Your $5 could
make all the difference.
All five of these Democrats are challenging Republicans in tight House
races in some of the most flippable districts in the country.
All five are in presidential battleground states. When they motivate their
supporters to vote, it also boosts turnout for Kamala Harris in the
presidential race.
1. In Pennsylvania's 10th, Democrat Janelle Stelson is protecting Social
Security—funding for one more day of canvassing could ensure that
hundreds of seniors hear directly about who's fighting for them.
2. In Michigan's 7th, Curtis Hertel is fighting to lower prescription
drug prices—one more TV ad could reach seniors and families struggling
with high drug prices, reminding them who's fighting for relief.
3. Next door in Michigan's 8th, Kristen McDonald Rivet is standing up to
corporate greed—one more flyer highlighting her opponent's record of
siding with corporate interests could win the race.
4. In Arizona's 6th, Democrat Kirsten Engel is fighting to stop corporate
price gouging—one more mailer targeting key undecided voters could be
what tips the balance.
5. In Nebraska's 2nd, Democrat Tony Vargas is working for a middle-class
tax cut—funding a targeted phone banking session could help reach
hundreds of voters who need to hear what’s at stake.
These races are among our best chances to take back the House. But it will
only happen if every one of us does everything we can.
[ [link removed] ]Can you chip in $5 to help these 5 Democrats flip these critical seats?
Every dollar counts. Together, we can TAKE BACK THE HOUSE.
Thanks for being a bold progressive.
