Friend,
Countless people across our city have reached out to Mayor Stoney asking how they can help the community during this crisis. First of all, we want to say thank you! For many of us – especially if you're not working on the frontlines – it can feel like you're watching everything unfold from the sidelines.
One way you can truly make a huge difference in our community is by donating and volunteering – safely! There are so many organizations right now where even the smallest donation could make the biggest impact.
While Levar continues to coordinate with local officials to make sure we are doing everything we can to prioritize workers, small businesses, and families, there are still things we can do from home to help keep Richmond RVAStrong. We've left some links for you below to organizations that could use your help:

* The Community Foundation for Greater Richmond

* The Holli Fund

If you can't afford to give back right now, that's ok too. Do what is best for you and your family's current situation.
But if you are in a position where you can give back, this is the time to do it. We are safer and stronger at home, so please continue to social distance if you can. Together, we will make it through this new challenge stronger than ever before.
Thank you,
Team Stoney
