John — Steve Garvey finally put a climate policy position in print, and it’s a doozy.
He wants to codify Trump-era rules — and while he's characteristically vague about them, he seems to be referring to rules like… weakening the Clean Air Act and the Clean Water Act.
Really? This is what he’s all about? More offshore drilling and dirty air?
If you support my real plans to address the climate crisis by eliminating tax subsidies that benefit the oil industry, holding companies accountable for PFAS contamination, and passing bold clean energy legislation, add your name as a cosigner of my plans today.
Steve Garvey’s plans sound exactly like the MAGA Project 2025 agenda and the far-right Supreme Court rulings that have already weakened environmental protections.
This is not what Californians want or need.
We don’t want to go back to dirtier air or dirtier water.
That’s why we’re going to reject Project 2025 and the Garvey-Trump agenda.
But we’ll do more than just that:
We have the opportunity to create a new, green economy with millions of good-paying green jobs across California and the nation, so we can bring down energy costs, lower emissions, and invest in our future.
This moment requires bold leadership and action, and I’m up to the task. Please add your name in support of my policy plans to address the climate crisis.
Thank you,
Adam
