Friend,
My best advice to you, right now,
just days before the election? Inhale. Exhale. Take a few deep
breaths. The panic over all these polls is not just premature. It's
ridiculous.
When you see a poll go from Harris
+3 to Trump +1 over the course of the past week, just throw it
out.
Why?
Imagine you've seen no coverage of
any polling whatsoever. Ask yourself - since the moment Kamala Harris
entered the race - which direction has it been moving? Has anything
truly changed it?
I can think of a few. The debate.
The convention. The economy. The VP picks. "Candidate quality" down
ballot.
Which candidate has an advantage on
every single one of those things?
Kamala Harris. (Oh, and which
candidate seems exhausted and is losing it in front of our very eyes?
It ain't Kamala...)
This is not "hopium." This is 40
years of experience staring us in the face. It's what Stuart, Rick,
and everyone on the team at the Lincoln Project are seeing. Yes we
have to campaign like we are behind - we have to give it our all. But
do not be fooled by all these junk polls.
BTW. Look at the less biased polls.
WaPo has Harris winning WI/MI/PA and Georgia. TIPP has her up 3
nationally. And almost all of these have Trump stuck around
46%.
Now look at what campaigns are
doing. Trump is canceling events. Harris is barnstorming. And last but
not least, look at what we are doing. We are laser focused on
Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin. As you're reading this, we've
been able to push over $3.5 million towards reaching swing voters in
those three states in the last few weeks. And more help is
coming.
We can and will beat Trump. We have
to run through the tape.
Help us finish strong. More voters
in those key states need to hear from us. We are running absolutely
devastating ads right now. Daisy. Seven
calls (from Putin).
Showing why Republicans
are supporting Harris. They are
working.
We've
got work to do. This election is around the corner. We still need your
help. But if you ask The
Lincoln Project, we'd all rather be us than them.
