Friend,
Let's be real here: Floridians know all too well what creepy is.
It's Rick Scott. He's a creep.
It's creepy how intent he is on controlling our bodily autonomy and reproductive choices. He has pushed time and again for a national abortion ban, and would lead the charge in getting such legislation signed into law if Donald Trump gets reelected to the White House.
It's creepy how he voted against the Right to IVF Act, which would have guaranteed federal protections for the procedure. And it's creepy how he lied about that vote — spending millions of dollars on an ad buy saying he would protect access to that very procedure a day after he voted to do the opposite!
The U.S. Senate is one of our world's greatest democratic bodies. It's not a place for creeps and liars, particularly those like Rick Scott intent on pushing Trump's radical Project 2025 agenda.
We can and must defeat him: Last time around, Rick Scott spent $64 million of his own money to buy Florida's Senate seat — and he barely scraped by, winning by just over 10,000 votes.
Look, I'm building coalitions that are much larger than 10,000 votes, and right now, I'm statistically tied with Rick Scott in the polls. But I can't cut my campaign a check for $64 million, nor would I if I could. This is a people-powered movement, and it's your support I need to defeat Rick Scott.
So, friend, will you split a donation of $10 or whatever you can spare between my campaign and Groundwork Project PAC to help defeat creepy Rick Scott in Florida and defend our Democratic Senate majority? I'm still $11,236 short of my midnight fundraising goal, and I'm counting on your support to run ads, reach voters, and counter Scott's attacks!
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your split donation to Debbie Mucarsel-Powell and Groundwork Project PAC will go through immediately:
We don't need any more creeps in office,
Debbie
